In a high-scoring game at the Centennial Place Arena on Saturday evening, the Three Hills Titans fell to the Hanna Havoc 10-4. The Havoc were ruthless, capitalizing on every opportunity they got, leaving the Titans to lick their wounds.
The Havoc outshot the Titans 10-4, a clear indication of their dominance throughout the game. The Titans’ defense seemed to struggle against the relentless attacks from the Havoc, with Titan’s goalie Jonny Gilroy unable to save any of the 10 shots he faced.
The powerplay statistics were equally telling. The Havoc converted one of their two powerplay opportunities, while the Titans failed to make use of their single powerplay chance. This inability to convert crucial chances into goals was a key factor in the Titans’ loss.
On the brighter side, Titan’s Trey Ogwal had a standout performance, scoring three goals. However, his individual brilliance was not enough to overcome the Havoc’s team effort, led by Austin Galway who provided six assists for the Havoc.
Havoc’s goalie, Madden Besplug, had a relatively easy night, facing just four shots and not needing to make any saves. This was a testament to the Havoc’s strong defensive performance, which kept the Titans’ attack at bay.
Looking ahead, the Titans will need to regroup and refocus as they prepare to face OLCN on home ice at Centennial Place Arena on Sunday, March 22 at 3:45pm. They will be hoping to bounce back from this defeat and put on a strong performance for their home crowd.
